I wonder if Rosemary Zitek remembers working with me at Wright's Barnyard. She probably remembers that, but I wonder if she remembers knocking on my recroom window (on 178th street) one day in 1970 while I was listening to Gypsy Woman. I had just bought my first expensive stereo that very day and was listening to the great sound. She was with Patty Banet and Doris Olson, all of whom worked at Wright's Barnyard. But now it strikes me as rather concidental that three girls would knock on my window while GYPSY WOMAN was playing. I also remember that Rosemary used to work at the Kresge's at River Oaks. She used to work at the register there. |
