I met Mona in the summer of 1973 while working at Skorberg's Furniture store in Lansing. If I remember correctly, she was working on special sale projects, making price tags for the furniture. I think she knew I had a huge crush on her, but I didn't talk to her much because she was a couple years younger than me. Her sister Edith probably told her to stay away from me anyway. Coincidentally she lived close to Howard who also worked at Skorberg's. (The photo is from page 124 of the yearbook.)
