From page 154 of the 1971 Yearbook
Robin was my best friend in first grade. Robin lived across
the street and down the block from me (Mark) on Greenbay Avenue.
We spent practically every day together playing. I have fond
memories of playing on her swingset in the backyard. Her
father and I shared the same birthday (June 11) but sadly,
her father passed away when Robin was in elementary school.
Whenever it was my birthday, Mr. Fitzgerald would walk up
to me, shake my hand, and while shaking hands, he'd
surreptitiously pass me a quarter. Okay, maybe he only did this once,
but I will remember it forever.
Robin Fitzgerald is now Robin Charlsen. She currently resides in Colorado
and she has her own website where she
showcased her great Native American artwork. She
is a very talented artist. I am proud to have known her.
