STUDENT SENATE
The Student Senate of T.F. South is an organization
consisting of elected class representatives who
strive to establish a voice for the student body in
school affairs. Led by Mike Wallace and his executive
board, the ten senators from each class have
in 1970-71 attempted to spur both social activity
and academic advancement. Homecoming weekend
was sponsored by the Senate, as was the annual
Charity Dance held in April. An exchange day with
other conference schools was climaxed by an assembly
in which senators and administration answered
the pertinent questions which Rebels had, concerning
school life. 1970-71 also found Mr. Dahlsten
acting as the new sponsor of the T. F. South
Student Senate.
