First Place Follies Act --- "Girls, Girls, Girls," by Triple Sextette. |
Senior Girls steal the show in their short Burlesque outfits. |
Senior Boys do their thing. |
Amid all of the confusion of hundreds of students, the Student Senate presented South's annual talent show, "Fractional Follies." The theme this year was "Let Me Entertain You." On the night of the follies the audience saw ugly crones turned into beautiful singers to medley of songs. "The Apes of Yesterday" and "The Saints of Tomorrow" added much excitement to the evening. The audience also experienced the dilemmas of dropping out of school. Also included in the program were some old time flickers with new twists, skits of the American ways, flippers, and the annual amateur hour. All of this talent was highlighted by a chorus line of flappers who vould not spell. The first place act this year was "Girls, Girls, Girls," followed by the Band, "Music Past, Present, and Future." and third was G.A.A. in "Dropout." |
